Her love and care for her family was there even as she was leaving them. Anyone who knew and loved Shirley will be certain that she entered through the gates of heaven with a big smile on her face knowing that she left a beautiful sunset for her family. Last night as Shirley was taking her last breath the sky was lit up with the welcoming lights of heaven guiding her home. Also her dedication and strong faith will always be remembered. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and the sound of her laugh. Shirley had the amazing ability to bring her laughter and humor in any situation. She loved to embroidery, reading, trouting, outdoors at the cabin, dancing and her love of laughter. Her ability to carry a conversation with a complete stranger was remarkable and she always made sure to get a chuckle and laugh out of them. She had a tremendous talent in making everyone feel welcomed and loved. If there was a need for help Shirley could be counted on. She was an active member of the ACW, lady Shriner and helped out with the breakfast program. Shirley was devoted to her church and served as lay reader for many years.
